​Painted Horse Photography

My name is Corinne Nykorak & I was lucky enough to grow up in the country and have many animals in my very own backyard.  This is where my love of animals started.  Horses and dogs in particular, but I love all animals.  I first volunteered for Hull's Haven Border Collie Resuce and more recently I work with Blackbird Ranch Equine Rescue and Rehab.  Many of my equine photos are of horses that were saved from slaughter.

 

I started taking photos a couple of years ago and fell in love with the way I could see the innocence of animals through my pictures and I wanted everyone to see what I see, so this is why I started this website.  So I could share what I see through the lense and what I feel when I am surrounded by them.  Sally Hull (my mentor) took me driving through the back roads and taught me so much.  This photo of myself and Jazz (my first rescue horse) was taken by her.
